RSC, my suggestion to you: buy a wood chipper, aim the spout at a cesspool, turn it on and kn jump in........
wow just wow...... gay as aids, just stfu and kite
This is why skateboarding is a better alternative, dont have to deal with douche bags on the beach and on the internet.
how about we move on up?
@ rsc
I haven't bothered reading the other thread but you don't need to in order to get the vibe. Thing that gets me here is everyone is slamming this guy to shutup and bugger off and you all do this for 10 pages and now you all start doing the same thing again.
If you don't want to hear from him then STOP REPLYING to his thread for christ's sake.
The reason I rarely post here anymore is because of this very dribble. Take a leaf out of my book and you will magically see this thread disappear into the bowels of page 2 and beyond.
I know though right, you can't help yourselves. ![]()
Dear Seabreezers, your fine selection of words, images and clips are helping me get through an otherwise tedious day of book-keeping (no Getfunky, not book-making).
Thanks and keep 'em coming.
And RSC, you are indeed having a disproportionate influence here, but perhaps not in the direction you wanted eh? Now, really and truly, take your sorry arse to the beach and learn to kite, you just might like it.
Can one of the mods please change the name of thread to "why I want to be the most hated kiter (or wannabe kiter) in WA"
Mr RSC
I have read the entire show pony blog, and yet still can't understand your point of view. I can understand most of your posts refer to defending arguments and accusations and verbal disrespect your way. Your original point of only accepting 60% of responsibility (which you later altered in terms of negotiation), or to me peer pressure. Seems to be lost in commonsense. I don't understand if the person yelled out at you was an instructor carrying on a business or just a standard beach goer, that your argument would stand on it's own merits. If it was a 6 year old child yelling out to you or a dog that barked at the beach, or a siren from the lifeguard, or a car horn. It was your distraction coupled with setting up the kite incorrectly that led to the accident.
I am a member of AKSA, and believe self regulation will always have flaws, but is far better that a regulatory one, for beach access for kiters. I read that you don't classify yourself kiter but a citizen that owns kitesurfing equipment. I own lots of different types of sporting equipment, but don't call myself a soccer player, tennis player, footballer, surfer, wakeboarder etc. But i do call my self a kitesurfer as I am very passionate about the sport, and enjoy the freedom and surfing aspects of the sport. As you seem to be a relative newcomer to the sport, i can understand it Is very daunting to start a new sport / hobby and fully comprehend the community that exists. The community, and yourself seem to want the same thing, and that is to enjoy the sport in a safe environment. Your hijacking another thread to post your own experience, demonstrated the passion other parties have for their chosen sport. We all want to see the success and freedom of the sport. In NSW I have seen the successful ban of jet skiers to certain waterways, which almost destroyed the industry overnight, due to a lot of show ponies. I don't jet ski, or ever have, but find it disappointing that commonsense, and a common voice (like an organization that speaks as one), could negotiate with a governing body, to preventing a ban to specific waterways.
Your experience with WAKSA or AKSA, seems to be only to be a new one with your opinions based upon the last weeks of posts, this certainly seems to be skewed with the emotional roller coaster ride.Safe kiting and responsibility is the underlining theme from the organizations, which seems like a sensible approach to me.
In your "peer reviewed"paper, it would be beneficial to have "experts" some of which have been posting In these pages to contribute rather than be left out. Poorly recognized experts within reviewing your papers will place greater scrutiny on the author, and contents, and will not be recognized as a credible source in the future.
I hope you do enjoy kiting, and the thrills of kiting surpass the negative feelings you a receiving on the page of these forums. We all love the sport, and hope you can embrace the same drive and passion in a way to assist in protecting the sport.

ok ok ok ok ... steady on folks!
He's different, thinks different, and has written to me saying he will not post anymore.
If I get it up to 5 pages on my own can I still claim getfunky's money?
No point asking a question here though, as no-one will be able to answer it. ![]()
