My choice is the Land of Lahara- Untouched, endless paradise for kiting, fishing and diving all on one little luxury cruise-boat and a amazing crew and chef on board.
My fav is fresh tuna with Wasabi (imported) after a big kiting session :)
Best months for papua new guinea is july/aug/sep/oct.
Cant wait to go again and this year they might have a wicked kiteboard race somewhere at a secret location with some good price-money! Now that would sweeten the holiday yeww

Mauritius June and July. nice - come with, if you can. the more the merrier - kitethrills.com/mauritius
I think some snow kiting in September is must - perhaps the Aussie main range out of thredbo.
we have fantastic wind 24/7 and Kalpitiya lagoon is the happening place for kiters.
I have been living in this awesome country for 13 years now, i can tell you there's LOADS of things to see and do.The kiting has NO cons my friends, all pros. Find a nice place next to the lagoon, (for example my brand new one! www.rascalskiteresort.com or www.kalpitiyakitesurfing.com  ) and have the blast of a lifetime. There are wonderful islands to be visited, breath-taking downwinders which can stretch for miles, passing very interesting reef wave spots, endless flatwater lagoons, sand spits, you name it, it's here! If you want wind, you might even get tired of it, it blows CONSTANTLY day and night, from May to around middle of September. Full moon lagoon sessions are common practice at our lagoon.
There are many comfortable flights nowadays and it's 3 hrs approx from the airport. The people in our village are very friendly and helpful. It is truly amazing here for kiters!
I hope the info was useful for all, if you have any questions i'll be happy to answer any. we want this place to grow!

This is what im doing! Come and join me, and if there is no wind, we will just surf cloud break like I have for the last 7 days!
well unlike all you lucky bastards above, I am not going anwhere. My pregnant wife and two grommets suck the life out of my pay before I even see it. So my winter plans are two hit any winter storms that come through and get into the late winter/sping westerlies that fire through here. That and plenty of DH mtb.
Its not all beer and skittles... ![]()

Be sure to knock on the hull if you see us...![]()
My winter escape for my first year will be back home in Jervis Bay. Interested to see what all this winter kiting is like! Might have to invest in a 6m from what I hear...
That Catamaran looks SICK. Looks like one that I've been on that has 4 decent bedrooms and the big saloon area up top and the verandah out the back....those 35ft+ Cats are way nicer than most people's houses. EPIC.![]()
