Don't know if your still here sandman but there is heaps more hooked in stuff. I know what you mean about passing the bar especially when you have to stretch to touch your hands behind your back. So what about proper downloops or one I like the look of a mega loop with a slow back roll during the loop. Gota agree with sir rowdy though your better off doing raileys and unhooked backrolls cos you won't suffer any where near as much pain when you stuff up
Saw it recently on a clip a guy riding the board in flat water turned on it's end , do you have to remove the fins for this one? Had a go at it the other day and went nowhere, looked like he was nailing it easily
wow why do u always read between the lines rookies? im still being serious like board offs are the way to go cos theres endless options, take toby for example.
i dont get how doing unhooked crashes hurt less but ok then princess...
once again this is unhooked but i always found opposite roll to kiteloops fun eg front roll kiteloops and backroll downloops etc feel pretty trippy.
You don't have to take your fins out, although it does make it easier to press for longer. You don't need calm water and you don't need to take your foot out of the straps. It's actually quite easy, turn 90 degrees while leaning onto your tip. if you do it hooked in it's even easier.
just move your weight around a bit between your heels and toes, you can feel it when you get the right position and stop your stalling, almost push your bottom foot's toes into the water a bit more
