630pm supposed to be a kiter dragged through a park and have his kite wrapped around a tree. 
Looked like a nasty impact with that tree,hope he's OK....No not a Cabrinha this time, looked like a Naish torch.

Correction.....he was riding a waiman...the torch is mine and it was sitting on the beach. He managed to get caught up in it as he flew across the beach dragging it with him into the trees.
For those who are too lazy to sift through 7 news to get it.
The kite didn't stick to the tree so it can't be a cabrinha. The kiter on the other hand did so he must have been wearing a cabrinha harness.
Not too sure, i was sitting back with a gatorade next thing there was a guy being dragged across the beach. If he had of been 10m further downwind he would have cleaned up the camera man! Once it happen the camera man took off....i guess he knew he had his money shot

How does that work the kite was behind him he must have been being draged by the kite he was atached to and holding the kite u could see 
If you read the whole thread you will see that he collected Random's Torch on the way through.

Two things
When the **** hits the fan at least hold on to the bar to have some chance of steering the kits. Putting hands out may feel good but does nothing.
After hitting the tree it's better to pull the safety than to look at where you came from and see whos looking.
I feel sorry for who ever lent him there waiman kite, to have perfected the hands free bum slide he must have rode cab for quite a few yrs
