Yes, tried the plastic owl myself.... the seagulls saw it as a threat, so persisted in attacking it ferociously. This of course meant that the owl whilst unscathed was covered in poo, as was the whole cabin roof and boom cover......

Snakes, plastic bags and bird tape are the go.

Depending on where you are located or if your willing to travel but my mate has a Hartley TS16 for sale at the moment. Its a race boat but that is a good thing as the mast and sails are in good nick (one set of sails are 1 regatta old). It has no rot and a good trailer. Its been stored undercover all of its life and its a fast boat on minimum weight if you wanted to race it.

I think he is asking $4500 and its in Adelaide. PM me if you want his contact details.

Gull Sweep, bought one a year ago, best money i have spent on the boat.Period. No shag poo at all!!
