All right all right , I'll make you a damn board. Two thousand bucks and no guarantees...how's that sound??
My last one was a shipping pallet and a dozen or so plastic bottles, and it would 've WORKED with the right sail!!! You KNOW it would've!!
This was at Pulau Besar, Malaysia. Not the popular Pulau Besar; the other one...the one with religious shrines and mud beaches...okay, one thousand????? Seven hundred???
You first customer, I give you good price???
Try Pete Ross Designs - Ocean Eyre Australia - I got his WavePro54 last September - very happy with it - it's a kilo lighter than the board I replaced - Carbon/Kevlar/Corecell construction is super light - I've had jumps where I've thought I was at the top and a gust hits under the board and boosts me an extra metre or so. It's really maneuverable on the waveface, if that's what you're into, the Eyre Peninsula is a wild place and breeds a wild board! Manufacture/Delivery was quick - 2 weeks. If I got another one I'd ask for a conventional bolt/o-ring vent plug and a custom paint job.
i like my nxs boards. (formerly manta sailboards)
they are built on the sunshine coast, perform as good as any others, are made from composite sandwich and vacuum bagged.
pete has been shaping sailboards longer than anyone else in oz. his experience cannot be understated.![]()
