How much is a sail worth

BTW why didn't you order something more durable, like an Ezzy?? The Hellcat is an all monofilm sail, isn't it?

maybe you guys should try aerotech in hongkong, not exactly the best sails but full grid and one if not the most inexpensive sails on the market

Hi Timford. no worries. but you did say under $1000 for 2 sails that are 1-2 years old new. so that means anything from 06 onwards. 09 is not out yet.

so that equate to less than $500 for each sail new. ofcourse you can get new 06 sails for around $400 so you should be ok.

now, i am certain that the majority of the shops do similar deals. even though some of them don't advertise their prices on the net (particularly the WA shops but also some of the east coast shops). you should phone them.

Can you let me know? I like the idea of the sail but have only really found marketing feedback on them.

tried it once from a friend more like a diablo a few years back or a v8 without cams

yeah and to put it into context you can't really go wrong with most of the sail manufacturers these days. severne, ka, gaastra, loft and on and on except for price or buying something that doesn't suit your masts

the KA Koyote is all xply, plus it's done 40+ knots. no need to buy ezzy anymore mate. and it works in a fairly good range of masts i believe. [}:)]

KA,Powerex or Pryde. the thing with the koyote is they are not as mast specific as some brands of sail well that is what i have been advised.

i am sure though there are others on this forum that are more qualified to comment and have the real testing experience???????
