Hi I'm an internet troll, I don't have much of a life so I spend it browsing the internet, and creating and responding to threads on certain websites in a way that will get me a reaction and therefore give me the attention I desperately crave. I basically have an inadequate personality that I am in denial about. Though , It has been suggested to me that if I dealt with my issues I might actually get a life, and have normal rewarding interactions with people.

So my question is, Is trolling good?

Did someone say Troll ??

Funny thing is in the newspapers they call them "Opinion Pieces"
or on the radio they are the shock jocks.

Anyhow it's just rabble rousing, and like cynicism reflects a lack of intelligence and immaturity.

So, Yes it's good

So what you are saying Mark is that the internet allows those with inadequate personality to dissipate the internal tension and anxiety which they experience intrapsychically, and that this therefore reduces the amount of obnoxious behaviour experienced in the workplace, which is much more difficult to escape from than internet trolling which has an easy out? Therefore you make an excellent and compelling argument for encouraging more Trolling on websites such as this one

next time in English, Joseph

it is just that at work / real life you can't get away from them whereas on the internet you have the fun of the chase whereby fellas spend months figuring out who they are (Bruucie) and then "paying them friendly a visit" in Boston .... and then strangley enough they go away.
much more satisfying than just putting pins on somebody's chair at work.

seriously i hate them. freaks need to get a life

No let us be kind to these unfortunate soul's.......... Now that you have alerted me to the potential harm in ridding the world of Trolls, my professional ethics compels me to "Do No Harm", I must now therefor encourage Trolls to use this website to unburden themselves........ Oh WTF have I started

I think trolling is good for pelagic species such as tuna and mackeral, also good for trout and other salmonids, but for bottom dwelling species such as flathead it's better to use bait on the bottom.

These kiting vs windsurfing threads are getting so passe and boring. There is no correct answer to the original question. The truth, if there is one, is subjective and to the outside observer irrelevant. They clearly believe their sport is superior to ours. Let them think that. From some of the kiters I've seen and their antics, its better they do not windsurf.

The next time a kiting troll rocks up on the windsurfing forum why don't we all ignore them? The lack of attention will kill them similarly to how the lack of sunlight will kill a plant. Let the trolling threads disappear from page one of the forum never to be seen again.

I agree with Moby's sentiment, but you have to admit they are funny on several different levels. They keep telling us they are 1/3rd our age, so that explains why they act like intellectually stunted children.

It's not like I have anything better to do at work, anyway.

So everyone, don't reply to this thread if you can help it

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=47084

Is it true what they say about windsurfers

Report it. Perhaps we should ask for the individual starting it to be given a holiday from the Seabreeze forum for a couple of weeks.

Just starve the thread or let like minded individuals reply to it, then all the trollers can be identified and dealt with.

I got annoyed. So I hacked myself a little filter script for Firefox that filters out all posts of specific users. No troll posts anymore . I can make it available if somebody is interested.
