I think that website is pretty cool. Would be good if lots of people reviewed there gear on there.... would also be good if users could create entries for products not listed... eg older boards / sails etc....
So wait starboard didn't help you? and the retailer did??
Does Ford give you a new car if you hit a roo? But good chance the dealer might give you a discount if you buy another new car a fortnight later.

(inappropriate analogy really) but in answer to your question, No unless the car breaks in half because there was a manufacturing defect like where there was meant to be a weld in the chassis there in fact wasn't, then I guess you'd be questioning it.
FYI - in Starboard's 2014 iSonic promotional material they have actually admitted (indirectly) the wingers in previous models was a source of weakness and I quote "Secondary wingers are closed off on the deck side, eliminating the full step that can crack under exceptional stress"
I have been wondering when all of *Board's minions were going to come out of the woodwork.
[Argh this thread has really got me worked up! Let it go Brian, let it go

If you hit a roo is the car completely useless?
That board had manufacturing defects and they refused to pay out so it is a bit different.
Plus given their later admission that it was a bit weak due to shape. Hmmmm.
No, I beat a fish to death with my fin ![]()
I thought it was the result of hitting a fish
I think you've just killed the used market for 2013 SB's ![]()
Getting back to the original topic, slight quality issue aside
....is the Isonic the best slalom board around???
I probably couldn't disagree with that conclusion, if you are a hard core racer and spend the time tuning and dialing it in, it is a top notch board and certainly wins a lot of races consistently.
what's your favourite card game.

Too funny Justin ![]()
