Herby's wife is also a very good windsurfer, in fact I think it was Lyn who got Herb into the sport.

I'm 57 but I think I can relate to most of the guys I sail with. I haven't seen the negativity at all, perhaps its where I sail that counts?? We all seem to just get along!
But the comments in the responses above have me thinking, are all the younger ones just being respectful??? I doubt it, probably the common interest in the weather, gear, conditions, good days, etc etc.
The older guys seem to have a lot more ailments so hope we don't whinge too much.
I really love my windsurfing and it sort of feels like getting back to nature, plus the total buzz of going fast on the water.
Keep at it everyone, and keep smiling and enjoying it!!
