If the lead role was a kiter the whole story wouldn't have worked. Unlike cowboys, kiters are openly gay.

I think we need to be a bit less homophobic and more tolerant in this forum. Yes the majority of kiters are either gay or bi-curious, but they should not be ostracised just because of their pillow biting tendancies.
Anyone here seen the movie the kite runner? about the life in afganistan? few minutes into the movie a some gays jump on top of each other. My dad and me brother were watching it at the time as well. we all could not believe it. It was released not long ago. If you go into your local video store you will see the movie on the shelf. I cant believe they make movies like that now like it's a normal part of life.
I think Captain Jack from "Torchwood" might be a kiter makes you wonder that show..The sex references etc are surplus to the plot they seem to be only there for shock value..makes you wonder about the writer/producer..
