Tabou Manta 49!!!
This the best board I have ever ridden - it goes quick, loves chop or ocean swells, gybes like it's on rails and it's brilliant for jumps!
It'll do anything, though it does like a bit of breeze, being 63 litres.
At this point in time its the 105 Hypersonic. I dare say this will change as I get more comfortable on my other board.
Whichever one is in the car that gets me planing in the conditions that I'm presented with and turns on a wave without spinning out too much
Cmon Hard's, whats going on over there in crab land??![]()
Also, you gonna make the trek to the Pit this year?
Might be something happening.....
Gee it's a toss up between my Ten Cate Spacer or my Fantic Falcon 90...hmmmm....ok the Fanatic....just ![]()
The board which never fails to bring a smile to my face is my trusty Mistral flow 276.
I love my JP FSW pro 92L for waves
my JP Slalom IV 104L for blasting around
My old F2 SX M which I was thoroughly depressed when I traded it for the JP no regrets with doing it but it was parting with an old friend
But the old Misty when i do drag it out never disappoints![]()
Mine's actually the F2 Axxis 272 I had about 9 years ago. Loved that board - fast, gybed easy and great bump and jump. But it is probably because I was much better back then (sailing atleast twice a week) so was getting much more out of my kit.
Now my favourite board is F2 SX-L, though hunting a fast easy to gybe 90ltr.
Must get some serious TOW from now on, especially as I have permission again from the boss :)))))
my favourite board is the fanatic falcon 79 when i have the north warp 5.8 f2008 on it with a 29 cm select s07 all beautifully balanced.
My 'new 2nd hand' JP Supersport 91L - it flies, jumps and jibes like a b#$stard.
My fanatic FW 77 for when it's cranking.
That's cos they're 10 years old, and get heaps of use.
Is yours the green one or blue one?
- You can use pretty much any good footstraps. Just prize the anti twist inserts off your old straps and press them into the new straps and away you go.
-if you're after the genuine article, you probably need to keep an eye out for a flow or old screamer or classic that died a horrible death, and get the straps off it.![]()

Got the Blue one, I think it was refered to as the custom??
Nose still intact, think I may have recently replaced the straps as they went a bit woody, bit of deck grip between the pads but other than that it's orig
