Agreed, $100 mil to one winner is too much and it would be better shared amongst 20 people with $5 mil each. But I'd rather decide who those 20 people are than let chance decide ![]()
$100 million would be easy to spend.
Strippers and blow $70 million
Private jet $5 million
House $10 Million
Ferrari 458 Spyder and variety of other cars $1.5 million
Yacht $5 million
Holiday homes in a variety of top kiting locations $10 million
A new set of kiting gear that includes every size of kite for the next 20 years $400K
After a year you could spent it all quite easily
I'd pay seanhogan's parking ticket for him.
Then I'd buy the parking space so he could park there whenever he wanted.
Hear me out on this one :
Odds of picking 7 numbers from 45 is 1:45,379,620
In OzLotto each game is $ 1.35
So, if 45.379M seabreezers want to send me $1.35 each then I'll spend $61.262M buying tickets - and chance of winning $100M is high.
If I win I'll return to you all $ 2.19 after the draw at a cost of $99,381,367.80
You are all up 162% and I take $618,632 in the 1 cent between the rounding error in the return of $2.19 as opposed to the accurate return of $2,20.3632379
If I loose - you are only $1.35 out of pocket - which is bugger really isn't it.
Good plan ??
^^^ Stephen these are so far out there you need a proper big jet to get there (or months on a big arsed boat) so to even live there with a small family you will need a decent amount of development.
That's what I mean - would cost a lot to build a house and a runway on an island if all done with 4000km round trip boat journeys. But worth it!!!
Just to let you all know in advance that I've had a vision 1st division is coming my way. The Secret is out!
I'd become a cocaine addict drink heaps of alcohol have sex with Whores and buy fast cars with most of it.
The rest I would probably waste
^^ Some good points kiterboy ![]()
---------------
A friend once told me that if he won lotto he would buy the house across the road from his place. I asked him why (both houses were similar size/style etc).
He replied, "Just so I can sit in the loungeroom and watch all the people arriving at my old place!" ![]()
From my school days
Chances of 1st number dropped being yours is 1/45, second number 1/44, 3rd number 1/43, etc.
times all these together and should get the odds of winning. Prob same as above. Is this correct ?
Nah thats the same as what skid did.
Which is correct if you had to get your 7 lottery numbers in a specific order.
But the 7 numbers can be in any order.
^^
my maths says 7 from 45, the seven all different and in any order is
7/45 x 6/44 x 5/43 x 4/42 x 3/41 x 2/40 x 1/39
= 1/ 2.2036 x 10-8
= 45,379,620
Because you all doubted me and nobody sent me $ 1.35 I haven't bought a ticket.
This means two things :
1) I have definitly saved you all $1.35
2) I have probably saved you at least $ 11 million
