Well racing anything other than a formula one is a bit random. Taxis, ride on mowers, trucks whatever. And a passenger seat in a racing car? Passengering is not fun.

I've watched a few laps of Bathurst. If they raced vans down the Mt Panorama S bends I might watch from start to finish.

I thought when he pitted early that he might have had a chance being out of sequence, I think the tyre problem made it a bit of a lottery as no one really got the full life out of them.

Wincup did drive very well tho and stayed right off the kerbs, great too watch

David Reynolds drove very well, if he had another lap I think he would have won.

Ya reckon? I'm not sure if 100mls would cover the final lap so prob an obvious call?

I think they were foxing a bit, you would never know how much they had left

Made for good watching though. I got back from the beach & I wouldn't generally take much notice, but Jefin (another sup'er) jumped on the remote & we caught the last 8 laps. The way the commentary was going, I was waiting to watch him run out of juice on one of the last turns.

Wonder if Will Davison has stopped shaking yet?
300km/h through the chase backwards.
Wasn't happy that they put the chase in all those years ago, but proved it's worth yesterday.
Remember an interview with Moffat saying back in the 70's you had brakes for turn one and then did the rest of the race without them. Some hairy moments at the bottom of Conrod straight before the chase was put in.

Before the Chase went in, the bikes used to get airborne at 285kph over that last hump for 50-100 metres.

.... wait to land, then hit the brakes for the turn into the straight. Gutsy!
