Hi All,

At the request of many, the Seabreeze forums have been declared a "Conspiracy Free" zone.

The funny thing about this, is that it may well be considered a conspiracy.

What this means is that chem trails, 911 plots, flouride & other classics are probably best discussed on sites which are dedicated to them.

Seabreeze is a watersports website, we're here for fun ..

Sweet, a new banhammer.

Are we going to write it into the rules, or does it come under the 'No forum spamming' rule (which I've been tempted to use on it a few times already...)?

I was gonna get all upset about this but have upped my flouride intake and feel the calming soma taking affect.

I reckon throwing out the occasional contetious topic that may smudge the line of theory/conspiracy is ok, hell sometimes I think we all find them interesting. However incessant paranoid posting is not cool.

Ping em a warning..

then on the next offence bring on the BH action!

I liked the conspiracies. funny stuff ! But why wouldnt they just follow the chem trails to their source to find the evil templers ?

i wouldn't have minded all the conspiracy talk if they could've kept it dumbed down and under 100 words per post.

Good idea. Thats why it never happened.

Good idea to get rid of the never ending threads about chemtrails and the 11th of September stuff. Just cozs its on the interweb doesn't mean its true.

I am formally requesting that seabreeze be a "funny pictures" free zone... after all 99% of them aren't even water sports related...

religion, politics, conspiracies

seabreeze, the watersports themed kindergarten of the internetz..

I dont agree with banning free speech, considering its only a few people, maybe containing it all in one never ending conspiracy thread would be better...

Yaarrrr... me too. As an occasional thing, it was worth a giggle having a dig at them. As an uninterrupted, never ending, monotonous diet... NUP!

How do you define conspiracy?

By definition it must be something that actually happened but is covered up by the conspirators.

Thus there has never been a conspiracy thread here as they all relate to stuff that never happened anyway

Last time I looked, you lived in Australia, as do 99.9% on the contributors on the forum, and this site ends in .au for a reason.

I guess you also own guns, drink Budweiser and are arrogant and overweight?
Do you believe in the right to arm bears?
(Ooops - bear arms)

Freedom of speech is the concept of the inherent human right to voice one's opinion publicly without fear of censorship or punishment.

bleating the ''facts'' is going to get very boring.

Yes and you could have typed that instead of cut n pasting something about Seppoland?

BTW, nobody is restricting your freedom of speech as you can post whatever you want on many different websites, but Laurie has a right to dictate content as he owns the show.

I don't think freedom of speech rights apply to privately owned forums.(the Australian Constitution doesn't guarantee freedom of speech and we don't have a Bill of Rights either)

Same way a newspaper editor can dictate what gets printed in his paper.

You want freedom of speech?

Set up your own forum.... it's pretty simple.

Petermac. Focus man. You can still get your emotional need - that everyone else is wrong and you are right - by discussing seabreeze conspiracy's.

Just check this out:

www.seabreeze.com.au/Members/Competitions/Entry.aspx?cid=Win-A-Liquid-Force-Kite

It's a competition. Most of the prizes have been given 'away' to people who rarely post or who have never posted before. Is this a coincidence? Maybe the vast majority of people on seabreeze are lurkers.

Or maybe, it's possible ,something fishy is going on here that needs to be exposed to the sheeple?

But it is also illegal to (for example) incite racial hatred, defame a person or predudice a judicial hearing.

Hence your freedom to speak is also suppressed in certain matters by the same government and moral authority that you use to promote your right.

So, are you only looking at the one side you want to see ? I thought that was what you hated about everybody else.
