Marvellous aint it ???

All of a sudden it's revealed that Julia's party has forked out $350K's to hush all this up AND the Pro has suddenly remembered she was elsewhere at the time ????

I say all Australians should stand behind their government, cause it's sure as hell not safe to stand in front of it...

Next installment. Kathy Jackson looking more and more dodgy by the minute, meanwhile she's being wined and dined by the liberal party elite.

The whole case against Thomson rests on her believability, she is at the core of the Fair Work Australia report against Thomson.

This and the Slipper case are both unravelling, looking worse and worse for the Libs as it comes out that both cases have been stage managed by them to try to bring down parliament. Mal Brough and and Channel 7 journo have been discovered as players in what is blatantly a revenge play against Slipper.

Meanwhile the *ahem* straight and fair press in this country (all 2 of them) have gone suspiciously silent on the whole matter.

The Plot, my friends, continues to thicken nicely...

And here is a very interesting read about the other side of the story:
www.independentaustralia.net/2012/politics/craig-thomson-under-the-rain/

Hmmm interesting. I suspected there was a little more in it when media noted tonight that the Mad Monk and Pyne had changed tack in a blink. Me thinks the whole Mad Monks efforts are unraveling at a great rate if this report has any credibility.
Another Godwin Gretch unraveling at light speed, in the wings ....waiting to happen.
Be a shame if this is the case. All that hard work by the honest group amoung, and the conservative side will be forever painted in an ugly light

Hulloooooooo, now there is a turn up, strange things have happened before from the right side. Ute gate being the previous effort from a dishonest group of people hell bent on clambering for power to serve his/her masters supplying the funding.
There looks to be one or two common denominators within that group who think they are above reproach or the law. Any guesses as to who?
Cant trust either side/group any more.

Why is that? Surely the case would rest on whether union money has been misused. It should be there in black and white rather than a "he said/she said" conflict of opinion.

Anyway the whole issue will probably fade off the radar due to stalling and delaying tactics. Thomson will serve out his term as the MP for Dobell and will be kicked out at the next election. He will get his parliamentary pension and enjoy his retirement of 30 or 40 years of $100K + at the taxpayer's expense. What a life.

Democracy in action.

It was sarcasam Moby, Dave seems to forget that there is half a mill of missing union funds that Craig has failed to explain on numerous occasions. Just because Kathy Jackson is a crook too dosen't clear Thomson.

But if Kathy Jackson is the main witness and she is being shown as unreliable then how can Thomson be found guilty?

Can someone explain these new revelations to me, like I'm a five year old? All a bit hard to follow.

It's all quite simple really.
Kathy says he did, Craig says he didn't.
Chris Whine says he thinks he did, Wayne Duck says he thinks he didn't.
Tony Cock Jocks says he thinks he did, Julia Working Families says she's sure he didn't.
A hooker says he did. The same hooker says he didn't.
Kathy says he definitely did, Craig says he definitely didn't.

So that's it really.
What's hard to understand in that?

If half of the stuff that Mr. Wicks has been on about on Independent Australia are right, then the Jacksons are going to the big house.

For sure its sour. Any pension I get will be the result of my superannuation contributions. However politicians for some reason are privilidged to get a guaranteed income if they stay in for two terms, ie somewhere around 6 years. Some don't even stay that long and can they take it easy for the rest of their life, collecting about $2500 a week for doing nothing.

Meanwhile they quibble over unemployed people getting a tenth of that amount.

According to the articles linked above it does happen all the time. Different credit card, same brothel (and also groceries, hotels, yada yada).

Looks like the HSU is corrupt. All of this neither proves nor disproves Thomson's innocence.

If so it doesn't change the situation for him. Two wrongs don't make a right. Anyway our elected representatives should be held to the highest standards though in reality this often does not happen.

If someone was convicted of breaking into a HSU office and stolen a couple of hundred dollars from the petty cash box they probably would be serving time right now.

Don't give up hope yet Moby, there's a real possibility that if he is charged.....and found guilty that he will serve some time for various crimes.
