Take Saudi Arabia the "seat" of Islam. After the fall of the Ottoman's the British and Americans made a deal with an evil bunch of weird sect Bedouin... the Wahabbi's.

These people only started in the late 18th century, and systematically destroyed Islamic culture, in the guise of following the "true teachings" of the Hadith.
The Hadith is a "he said, he over heard somebody say she said" bunch of books.

They took over the country with western guns, destroyed the universities, and took away women's rights.
Then created a bunch of propaganda schools, that taught some weird BS, a palace for every inbred farker... while at the same time selling the countries oil for US$ T Bonds.

I could go on and on... but basically we owe the British and Americans for the wacko Muslims.

They did something similar in Iran... except this time they did the opposite. They got rid of the democratically elected government of Mohammad Mosaddegh (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Mosaddegh), then installed a put secular dictator (who killed way more people than the current government)... to counter balance the wacko Saudi's.

Why wouldn't these people be capable of committing evil in the name of their faith..
