I filled the truck up today. $272. On the company Shell card but it still depresses me, standing there watching the meter tick over. How long before they beam Fawlty Towers at you to raise your spirits?

It's an agi, Dinsdale, I started doing my HC but realised that I would never feel safe with 40 foot of freight swinging around behind me and the roads smattered with lunatics

Just filled (only 1 tank) on my cruiser $217.00, at least it will last 2 weeks+,
can't pull the trailer on my bike

I still like the old 3 wheeled mountain bike invention.... Small Electric drive to single wheel at rear (no rear diff), and two wheels up front, for stability. A light weight car...

If I ever lose the drivers license, I will be ordering a custom from this dude... 3kW... Put some big stickers on the side saying "200W Electric Vehicle" & "Ultra Light Weight" in small font.... that will throw the tyre kicking coppers off the scent.... (I'll organise a over-ride switch for the 200W mode.... make it 3kW all the time)

On ninemsn today, the poll question: "has rising fuel cost affected your quality of life?"

So far

9000 YES
1900 NO

that says a lot.

Maybe Nine MSN is frequented by Middle Eastern dictators along with executives and shareholders of big multinational oil companies.

The sad thing is I did the math and driving to work with the missus in her small Hyundai is still cheaper than the train ride by $30.00 a week (have a company parking spot in town). The Barnett team is increasing the train fare by 5% next financial year..... well done you idiot!

The problem is Felix, you are assuming the Pollies care about you and I and the struggling masses, even if they do a hopeless job while in power (which they all do) they get kicked out at the next election and retire on a ridiculous pension. No other career rewards incompetence like politics!
