keep researching dazza....................it is actually possible to obtain single antigen vaccinations, however very expensive.
as i said before, the link to autism has been debunked....but, yes, high levels of mercury and other nasties...albumins, etc. are another issue altogether.
you are always okay to tweak the system a little as i did. be a 'conscientious objector' until you feel you're ready to jab.
and of course,,,,in a perfect world, both parents wouldn't be slaves to the wage and have to return work early and have their poor little mites in care from 6 weeks of age and be exposed to so many other kids and so many nasties...but once again,,,it ain't a perfect world....and i was lucky to be able to hang at home with mine. I still maintain it was integral in the healthy kids i have today. i ain't rich....i just made a choice.
as if early parenthood isn't hard enough without this moral quandary??!!
Thanks for the info badinfluence.
Yep my wife has decided to stay home with the little man until at least 18 months. It means we are stretched financially but worth it in the long run.
'tweaking the system' was referring to the immunisation schedule and not the family tax benefit.............![]()
and just stating a fact that individual vaccs are out there, albeit cost more.
Better stop the kids from eating shellfish and the larger fish - and probably a lot of other food - due to the worry of mercury poisoning then. ![]()
Food Standards Aus & NZ recommend...
"Limit to one serve (150g) per fortnight – billfish (swordfish, broadbill and marlin) and shark (flake), with no other fish eaten in that fortnight.
Limit to one serve (150g) per week – orange roughy (deep sea perch) or catfish, with no other fish eaten that week.
Eat 2–3 serves per week – of any other fish or seafood (for example, salmon or tuna).
Note: 150g is equivalent to approximately two frozen crumbed fish portions."
The implication IMO is that small amounts of mercury are in most fish and if not eaten in quantities above the recommendation then we are fine.....
Take whatever you want out of that but maybe the scare of mercury in the immunisation is not a big problem.
Here is a recent Walkeley Award winning article of how vaccines CAN go wrong. Like I said I am not against vaccination I just want it done right and **** like whats in the below story scare me.
The Government health dept, the pharmaceutical companies need to step up otherwise confidence in the immunisation program will be shot if not already started.

Measles has made a come back here in Auckland cos of negligent hippies like you fly surfer!
Also immunise your kid against flying foils, I have heard that disease has been bought over by Euros......... from Europe
hahahahahahahhahahhaahahh
Julie Gerberding....Former director of U.S CDC [centre for disease control] is now president of Merck's vaccine division.

We immunised our kids - call it blind faith in the fact that our docs have a greater knowledge on the subject than what we could learn from the surfing the internetty. Added is the 'fear' that if we didn't, our kids might get one of the diseases - especially whooping cough, as there have been many cases around here over the past couple of years including a couple of infant deaths.
The day we lose trust in our local GP's advice will be a sad day. If my doc told me that we'd be better off without immunising our kids, I'd probably go along with it. The fact that the doctors & nurses (many of which I know personally) feel so strongly about immunisation is good enough for me & my family.
For Big Pharma companies, vaccines are a billion dollar industry.
Doctors i bet receive bonuses to vaccinate us, making them sales reps for big pharma.
My wife is a scientist and she has a strong opinion against some of the vaccines because of their side effects.
Each person reacts differently to it, what is good for one kid can be a disaster for another. With a few of these vaccines we risk causing more harm than good.
There are obviously many benefits for immunising our kids – and us - but we over immunising and it's near impossible for the general public to know what's worth it or not.
I will be facing the same question in a couple of months and that could be a heated debate between our GP and my wife.
^^What type of scientist?
But these arguments are compelling, and have changed my mind, I think we should now cease all vaccinations. Life was better when we were pure, and in touch with our micro friends.
So this is the state of play:
Those in favour of FULL immunisations, believe and trust the advice provided by the government institutions.
Those in favour of LIMITED immunisations, believe their child shouldn't be unnecessarily immunised against diseases that are rare, non fatal.
Those against immunisations, believe the big pharmaceutical companies have lobbied the government to provide impartial advice, the vaccines contain harmful preservatives to prolong shelf life and the vaccine maybe more dangerous than the disease.
Solutions:
1.- Make vaccines not for profit. So in effect socialise the manufacture and distribution.
2.- Remove the preservatives. Why can't people get fresh vaccines, like fresh milk?
Those who argue, well you eat mercury seafood... yes, but the body has mechanisms to deal with heavy metals when passed through the human gastrointestinal tract, including storing them in adipose tissue.
When injected directly in to the bloodstream these heavy metals can directly affect the nervous system causing tremors, autism (medical profession won't conduct study on this), erythema, encephalitis, encephalopathy... and may also be the tipping point from asymptomatic to symptomatic heavy metal poisoning.
When your child is very young these vaccines can be very harmful... sure most will handle it with only flu like symptoms and a rash, but would you want to be the minority who have longer term problems?
I believe it should be up to the parents to decide what they want to do, and no discrimination for their choice.
Give them partial advice and clearly define the side effects, efficacy and explain the disease.
One of the things that REALLY farking pisses me off about Australia apart from the ATO is the way medicines are dispatched...
1.- Go to a stupid Dr. who can't speak English or pay $180 to get a prescription
2.- Go to an over priced BS pharmacy who hands you and BLANK farking box with some kind of medicine.
3.- Pray you got given the right thing... it's easier now with Wikipedia.
In other countries, you go to a pharmacy where the pharmacist knows everything he/she sells REALLY well. He asks you why you need it and if you know the side effects and the purpose.
The medicine has a BIG piece of paper/booklet explaining EVERYTHING (contraindications, side effects, interactions, etc) about the drug.
"Fresh" vaccines hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahha
"Oooh what a delicious vaccine"
"Yes it is fresh"
"Ooh but the box is blank! This is **! I only want a vaccine thats got a pretty logo!"
"No man its fresh and organic, comes in a recycled paper bag man, no preservatives"
"Oh, ok since its a fresh vaccine, Ill let it slide"
"The viral capsids are free range too"
when we were kids wed break dads thermometers and roll mercury in our hands. the stuff felt heavy for how little there was
that was in the 70s / 80s. as for polio, my cousin had it. same age as me. 41.
