If you take one record cold day as evidence against, then you have to take all the positive indicators as evidence for.

"Gee it's pretty cold today, can you believe the stupid scientists think it's actually getting warmer? hahaha"

It's the average temp that is important, plus with unstable weather systems it is expected that there will be extreme events, both above and below the norm.

Shouldn't everybody know this by now?

Your right, they should. I mean it's only been happening for millions of years.

Not this fast it hasn't.

(does this mean we can stop using the 'millions of years' excuse, please)

Global warming is responsible for my curry being cold in the middle when I put it in the microwave. Its related to weather and the recent Japanese Tidal Wave and Climate Change; The Globe warmed up causing a dramatic change in Climate, causing the Biggest Tidal Wave in history, never has the world seen such a disaster because they didnt exist before microwave ovens were invented. The world was put here as it is by God, and God is punishing us for using all his Oil and Coal with Tidal Waves and Earthquakes, and microwaves that dont heat up the food evenly.

the more microwave Ovens we have that work properly, the less global warming and climate change would be related.

the word Tsunami was invented when Japan had a tidal wave because there was no word for Tidal wave because there was no such thing as a Tidal wave until one hit Japan.

Microwave Ovens, Japan, Global Warming and Climate change are all from the same family,

Sorry if my post is too long, its Global Warming making me do extreme things.

No, I'd say ignorance and and a bad sense of humour is doing that.

Crikey, Everyone knows Global Warming and CO2 is responsible for Extreme Cold, My chocolate bar melted in my car today, that was Global Warming's fault. two nights ago I had to use my doona, that's Global Warming making the weather colder at night.

I had a dog once, a proper bull terrier, she died from heat exhaustion, that was global warming, 1984, before everyone even knew what it was, it killed my dog.

Toots, this is your lucky day because I just read an article wot sez that keeping a dog has a higher carbon footprint than owning a SUV. Yes! That's right!
Here it is right here on the internet so it must be true. phys.org/news/2009-11-dogs-larger-carbon-footprint-suv.html

So now your dog is dead, well long dead from what you say, then you can rush out and buy a new landcruiser. In fact, because it's been dead for so long, feel free to buy two!

i know your joking but i just wanted to lift a couple of quotes from that article and bring them in here...

what the...
"The study apparently didn't take into account the emissions of either the SUV or the dogs."

and in case you didnt know how scientists express disdain (lol)...
"Clark Williams-Derry, chief researcher at the Sightline Institute, a nonprofit sustainability think-tank in Seattle, scoffed at the study, which is how scientists express disdain."

and...
""When I saw the study I ran some quick numbers," Williams-Derry said. "The average dog has to eat at least twice as much as the average person for this to be right. People are just heavier than dogs so, I just had to scratch my head at that."

Its not me that hurt your feelings by pointing out your ignorance and owning you in another thread, That was Global Warming.

So this silly little campaign of yours to comment negatively on anything I post is very "school yard bully-esque" cute in a way but extremely sad in reality,As Climate Change has already proven Im further up the food chain but its actually Global Warmings Fault.

Should have given your dog some water...............have you got any smarter since 1984?

Water? we were too poor to afford water back in those days, besides global warming came and took it all, Im no smarter now than I was in 1984, but still a lot less ignorant than you

No I said FIRST I wasnt as ignorant as you and you were the one with the great rebuff of "no you're ignorant" as evidenced here,

Remember Kiddo, we arent in the schoolyard anymore, so your miscontrued logic of the chronology of events in an effort to make yourself sound justified just dont work in a forum where everything is recorded, anyway its like you think you actually have an audinece and someone is actually listening to your crap. Only Global warming is omni present and knows everything and he told me you actually havent contributed anything to the discussion, merely made Ad hominem attacks out of sheer rage and jealousy.
Go get a PH tester and PH test yourself lest you burn in your own acid, then you can blame Global Warming.

Keep 'em coming its Comedy Silver, and remember in REAL LIFE theres no prize for second

How come this thread's still going when the chemtrails thread just got closed down? I was just getting into that one too. How about we just veer this thread over towards chemtrails a bit. It could keep going for many more pages that way. You know, something like, "chemtrails are all caused by global warming" .

If you really believed in Global Warming and climate change, you would
1. Sell your Car
2. Sell your Computer
3.Not use Public transport (it contributes to Global warming by using fuel)
4.Throw out all your electrical Appliances
5.Give up work
6.Give up consuming
7.Recycle a tent
8.Live off the land
9. Never be part of society again because everything a society uses has embodied energy that contributes to Global Warming
10. Not the beleive the hype that solar cells are good, because they use more energy to manufacture than they give off in their own lifetime.

Ohterwise you are being a Hypocrite espousing everyone else is to blame while you sit there and consume.

You forgot one there Toots.

Sell your canal front real estate. Must be a lot of people worried about rising sea levels in those areas.[}:)]

The rising sea levels at Kiribati and other isolated Pacific Islands must be a very localised thing because there does not seem to be too much evidence of it around Australia's coast line.

Maybe rising sea levels are restricted to impoverished people.
