Vasectomies should be avoided at all costs. No matter how much you hate frangers, the inconvenience pales into significance when compared to the pain of having needles, scalpels and other metal objects being randomly jabbed into your scrotum. On the plus side I now have 2 very large, black testicles!

There is nothing better than having 2 avocado's swinging around for a couple of days. It will get better with time, and it's well worth it.
Maybe head down to the beach for some tea bagging to help the swelling go down.

I got both of my dogs done two weeks ago. Actually I got the wife to take them. I did'nt want to be associated with it!!
All the whimpering under the couch , their inability to walk and "what have you done to me?" looks as they struggeled to pee are not encouraging me to upscale the operation to myself.

Besides, I cant fit under the couch.

We obviously had the same surgeon or more accurately (as I suspected) a vet.

It's not always that bad.

I got it done under a local in the doctors rooms. Done on Friday midday, back in the saddle (or, more to the point, back on the girl friend ) by Saturday night, back at work Monday morning. Expect the family jewels to be black & swollen for a little while though

The worse side effect was some time later I met this really hot girl (14yrs younger than me) who was 'keen as', but only if there was a chance of having kids as part of the deal
Oh, well, thems the brakes. (and no, I did not lie to her)

If you are sure you don't want any (more) kids, it can be a simple solution. Just consider if circumstances change would you change your mind?
A question only you can answer...

This sounds not so flash but "Dr Snip" is the only way to go if your having it done, Painless stitchless and back to work the same day, oh and you get a stubbie cooler. Great convo starter at BBQ's, all the chicks want to know what its about. Just google it.
Neighbours wife loves it now I'm done

My wife wants to do it herself, as i cut the umbilical cord to our last child. She thinks that is fair. I think she is nuts

That's when you've gotta lie. "Damn, you're still not pregnant? I dunno what's wrong - maybe it's you? Oh well, let's go try again."

Should be able to pull it off for a couple of years of fun before she catches you out.

Had it done years ago (+16) after my second
Did it under general
Minor discomfort for the first 3-4 days then all good
Clearing the tubes for the next month was fun till the boss told me to do the rest myself.
Dropping the 2 specimens in the check you are firing blanks was bit embarrassing as they know you've just rubbed it out your self.
Worst discomfort was coming out from the Gen with the migraine from hell (a truly evil bastard) and having the nurses come in to check on me every 15mins when I'm curled up in a ball of misery under the blanket.

Rumpy pumpy is all for fun now mind you, it's hard to be taken seriously the way I do it anyway

Had it done years ago. I was self employed in them days so back to work the next day. You walk like a cowboy for a couple of days but no effects after that.

Other than that, worst bit is what elmo said - handing in the specimen jars.
