Watching the news lately it seems a lot of the violent crimes we are seeing - home invasion, drive by shooting etc are against ethnic minorities, Lebanese, Asian, Middle Eastern. Are these crimes being perpetrated by their own people? From what I have seen, this appears to be the case when the offenders are caught.
And this is suprising??
When you have people such as Sudanese/Africans who are used to the law of the gun and who also are brought up by forcibly taking what they need to survive how would you intergrate them into a western society? Keeping in mind they are unemployed, have no money, easy access to drugs, cant work due to visa requirements, get bored and have the 'take what I want' mentality...
They bring their ways here and then crime blows out and we as Aussie's accept this and keep welcoming them with open arms. Eventually it's going to catch up with us and the problems encountered in SW Sydney will be in every major city in Australia.. They multiply like rabbits and then the cycle begins breeding more generations of criminals.

It seems every night there's a shooting in western Sydney,two people shot dead two nights running in Brisbane this week.
I have an interesting transcript of a speech given by a retired cop in NSW many years ago, talking about the problems with middle eastern crime, resulting in no-go areas for whities and cops. Basically talks about how the police can't solve it due to political correctness and warning against some of the ideologies that has caused this mess.
It is all true, by one who has been there and done that. He also later warned that Cronulla was going to turn to crap as whities were getting sick of ethnic crime gangs and a few years later he was proven correct.
I won't post it here as it is long, and also regardless of how true it is if I post it I will be a right wing nationalist redneck again apparently.

We in WA are lucky that we have not witnessed what has happened in Sydney,but for how long?.
I don't condone violence but can relate to how the situation in Cronulla escalated and maybe having people like the Bra Boys around can keep ethnic gangs in their place, especially when the police are not doing their job because of pollitical correctness.
Good read Mark but incredibly depressing. I'm not sure how the police of NSW are currently dealing with the issue. They try to talk to people who have been shot and all the people say is they were out for a walk at night.
About the only time I go to the south side of Sydney is to go windsurfing and almost every time I see some really dodgy things, like young blokes of 'mediterranean appearance' driving really expensive cars, ie Italian sports cars and groups of them hanging around at the beach. They sometimes seem to be up to something that doesn't seem exactly right.
Of course its not racist to attack a white person because they are white. A good example of this was the recent mass killings in France. Before the identity of the killer was known, journalists speculated the killer was a racist white supremacist. When it turned out the killer was a Muslim with a North African background those same journalist lamented how Muslims in France are excluded by a racist French society that hates Muslims.
Whitey is always to blame.

The govt needs to deport any of the people who commit crimes whilst on asylum or bridging visas. Go have a wander around Mirrabooka Square shopping centre.. You will wake up quick smart to where we are heading.
Have a look at Wembley and how it has evolved over the last 3 years then you will see it's becoming more Pakastani,Sri Lankan and Indian on Herdsman Parade than actually in any of those countries. That's because the government has identified that area for rehousing asylum seekers in cheap accomodation. It is a disgrace how PC we are becoming..

I live and work in the Elizabeth SA for the past nine years. It's very white and generally people are not very friendly (although Elizabeth drivers are pretty considerate). I first noticed Sudanese in this area about five years ago. There are a lot here now and you know what ?, they are just getting on with it !. The Sudanese are polite. The local bogans don't give them a hard time. I see Sudanese kids playing with the local kids and frequently see the two groups walking to school together. I've never seen a bad incident. They are establishing and prospering. Everybody is getting on and I say good on them. Sorry if everybody else is having bad experiences.

In our court we had almost every migrating country of the time represented. Even though there were some very dodgy things that went down, it was generally a brilliant place to live.. Even if it was just for the food!
There are bad apples in every crop. But the majority have come to Australia to make a new life for themselves and their families. It can be difficult for the new arrivals to incorporate into Australian lifestyle. Yes, these people are different but they are here for the same reason we are.
However even with this perspective I have had one or two run ins with people who must have lived through some horrendus events to disregard human life to such an extent as to threaten to kill for a nokia phone or $20.
Even though I no longer live in Dandenong one of my most favourite resteraunts is in Dandedong. It's Afgan and it's an amazing meal. The people are brilliant and love it when I pull up out the front on the fireblade (sportsbike).
So, for those of you who've skipped through my ramblings, here's a quick summary.

Let's say bikie gangs are a problem in any given capital city. They are all white members, and as we know about 80% of the population is caucasian.
So out of the 80% of the population who is caucasian, in Sydney we have about 500 people who are active members of a defined organised crime gang (bikies)
Then we have certain persons of middle eastern decent who are only about 1-2% of the population of the city. They also have 500 people who are active members of an organised crime gang.
That means per capita, more of that race are undertaking serious unlawful activities.
Would it be racist to state that? Is it racist if it is true?
Those numbers are just rough guesstimates.... but:
Sometimes we need to put aside political correctness and ascertain if one group is more criminally active, and if so state that as fact and target the problems.... not shy away from reality in case we are labelled as racist.
In American movies it is always 'the mob' - Italian mafia gangs - and that is OK cos they are european. But we are not to talk about Lebanese gangs or African gangs because they are refugees, recent arrivals etc so we have to ignore things, lest we be labelled racist?
Anyway this should be about crime, not race, culture or religion. If someone hurts someone else then the law should step in to punish the perpertrator and bring restitution to the victim. It shouldn't matter what colour or background either party is.
