Does everyone think there really will be a level of exclusivity with this first release of kites? Or will the general population be able to access them relatively soon? I'm just trying to get my head around the fact the price is right..It almost seems too good to be true??

I have a feeling that the first 100 will be cheap for testing. Then the RRP will be higher
Not sure though

Well timed Pimpfinger, but I am happy to let the sheeple suk corporate cawk. I like chicks and don't have pics of famous kiters on my walls.

BTW - I'd suggest hotballs makes the best observation re: the performance of the kite and echo needs to understand BW could even make a flying doona look exciting in the surf.

As I have said previously - best of luck to BWS - but don't go pimping under the guise of personal posts.

Gee - it does seem odd how many BWS threads pop up asking questions that essentially answer themselves tho dunnit?

More fodder for the sheeple - and 1st 100 get a manly poster for above ya bed.

The bar looks like a cheap piece of alloy rapped in a tennis racquet grip.

It also looks like the top section locates in the bar to stop the chicken loop from turning when unhooked which is a great idea, but then looks like there is swivel under the cleat completely making the above useless.

But with the small amount of time put in to R&D on this kite there is bound to be some flaws in the first couple of years. Can't wait to see some reviews and see how they hold up, and see shop reactions to getting screwed over by BW on there first release of kites, like it or not he is taking money out of there pockets to fill his own then probably expects them to push his brand latter. Time will tell.

I don't know about dissing something until one has used it and for some hours.

To me it looks like it has a bit of everything I've seen in bars from many top makers.

Are these at the beaches yet ? May of seen one up north WA last week. Not entirely sure as I not that up to date with current kite models. It was black, and had a white logo in the center. Not much help really am I.

It looks like the BWS kite is leading the way with its lack of style, there is a kite company called Mutiny kites that have a kite that looks equally as unimpressive, all black with a jiz stain across it.

I actually like the monosimplistic design of the graphics. Wax I have no idea what has got you so anti BWS? The opposite direction grip would make it easy to feel where red and white lines without looking at the bar whilst under water from a wave.

why does that make it useless. you arent going to try and unwind your lines when unhooked! most crew will hook back in and when your cruising along give the cleat section a twist with their bar slightly depowered- been using it for a couple of months now and works fine , in fact the bar is great and those grooves( not tape it is 1 peice of EVA) on the grip give u a good contact to the bar with no slippage and your fingers sit nicely in those grooves! oh and pretty sure the designer has more than enough experience and has designed for 2 of the main brands before this!

Are they rubber bar ends on the bar? Thats wat i need ...keep putting dings in my surfboard. I like the plain kite its better than a picture of BW on the canopy.

I think the bar looks like it's perfect. What is with the spaz outs Waxman? What is the problem with a rider with huge name recognition because of years of busting his ass going out on his own instead of lining someone elses pockets?

There is always one eh?
