PNG does sound good, I will have to add it to the list.
I hope you score well and I will be after some feedback when you return.
Steady on there Puppet, you will scare any potential girlfriends away.
I think you may have me mistaken for someone else, I'm just your average single man that happens to be lucky enough to have some lovely female friends.
Sounds like the yam festival in PNG is the place to be if you are chasing women, Im looking for wind and waves.....well during the day anyway.
Now Now guy's we are straying a little off topic here
Wind, waves, flat water and PNG is what it's all about ![]()
Hey people
Im organising a girls only trip to PNG from the 22nd to the 29th September through intheloop if there are any gals out there that are keen... still a couple spots left. I've been twice already and its an amazing trip!
Hit me up.
I was lucky enough to get to do this trip year last. It was a pretty sick experience and we got some epic conditions as well.
The boat was amazing. Nice rooms as well as a lounge room with a tv, dvd player, etc. The food was epic too. Buffet style breakfast lunch and dinner all included with some of the best food I have ever eaten
For flat water the place is great. Perfect little offshore sandy islands with nice glassy, warm water. I had such a great trip and I'd recommend this trip to anyone else who is keen. There's also so the extra baggage allowance the PNG surfing association offers. Something like 50kg you can take which is always a bonus. Anyway if your heading over on one the upcoming trips, enjoy it, it's an amazing place.
Cheers,
Keahi
I haven't been able to find anything anywhere about the price for the part of the trip once you land in PNG
just to tease...... conditions for port moresby this week. while it was a late start to the season this year the wind has been very good now that it has settled in to the SE trades (lahara). if hula is on your itinerary add 5-10 knots to that wind speed. Milne bay will be similar forecast to POM a touch less maybe.
as a general rule: as a high moves east across australia we will have excellent wind. the stronger the high and the further north it sits the better.
you can try
www.bom.gov.au/marine/wind.shtml <-- choose queensland - north and it will show the southern section of PNG and the islands you want to check on. not really sure how accurate it s in the eastern islands but it will give you some idea.
buoy weather is pretty accurate and wind guru is good as a guide but usually 5 knots under at least.
O sh!t
There is now a spare spot on the 14day trip starting 27th july
Will be sitting at home with a broken leg
Don't let it go to waste fella's
