Why do People Wear Boardies Over Their Wetsuits?

Sorry to tell you this Joe, but unless your wetty is 15 mil your board shorts should fit no probs, so yes your old and fat but thats fairly standard.

Wow, you learn something new everyday.

I had always assumed that wearing shorts over a wetsuit was a way of boy-kiters displaying they were single and available to other boy-kiters.

Bit like those dots Hindus have, or those red-lights outside houses in Amsterdam.

Seems that may not be so. Perhaps now I may talk to more kiters on the beach. I was always a bit afraid before.

As for the Lycra clad cyclists, there is a reason which is that 50% of the bike seat padding is built into the seat of the Knicks, without then you won't walk for a week! The worst thing with cycling is not the bulge at the front, but the hairy arse view from behind when the Lycra is worn, no underwear is worn underneath!! Not bad though if your following 2 inches behind a fit young lady...

before I carry on further, let me first preface by saying i'm angry that there is no wind and i'm bored, before i hear the 'just kite! or who cares!'

I always laugh at the fatties with their lycra and flash bikes with skinny tyres, carrying on like their Lance Armstrong, needing less 'wind resistance' haha. What they need is a lot MORE wind resistance! BURN some calories big man! You don't need a 21 speed for easy hill climbing! YOU need flat tyres, a drogue chute and a single speed!!

They are very streamline, won't hinder our performance or rub, (like wet baggies.)
