Slave go away. The only thing your comments are good for is to start a 4 page dribble fest that sure isnt going to change the world or kiting in that matter. Good on you pal if you dont like one pump. I dont like brussel sprouts but im not going to go to the fruit and veg and tell every one. Seeing your such a pro, Design your own kite, sell thousands of them and then people (maby a couple) will listen to you.
I wonder if there is a simple reasoning as to why they choose to run with the one pump system like maybe its what the punters want, because its easier and it sells ....maybe not so sinister as wave rave seems to imply,
I wonder if its possible that its not so economical to offer wave rave specific custom (choices)
Maybe if you sent 2693 emails to whoever your favourite brand is (pity them) they would give in and produce a WS custom complete with.... no leash attachment ring
You could even try selling some Launch Pads whatever T F they are
i wouldnt really buy a kite without 1pump either.. but all those kites with the little hoses connecting the struts to the LE can be turned into "classic pump" by buying a few plugs and putting them in the valves... hell LF even comes with these plugs for maintenance stuff..
HOW TO FIX A LEAKING P.O.S. ONE-PUMP
#1.
First, pump up the kite rock hard.
#2.
Then submerse the whole kite under the water in the backyard swimming-pool.
#3.
Find the leak and repair it without disconnecting any sh1tty one-pump connections.
#4
lol
* connections leak easily
* avoid unnecessary disconnections
Totally agree on the less is more philosophy and i go that way almost every time with all aspects of life.
For me, it doesn't apply to one-pump as it does work, makes for (a tad) less hassle every time i use my gear and to date has made zero hassles for me.
A winner and worth the extra plumbing and miniscule weight.
