Your not wrong there mate shocker.
I’ve never seen a drought like this especially this time of year.

does adding a litre of oil every 3,000 k's count? I don't feel any better for it It doesn't blow smoke, and it doesn't leak, so I'm buggered if I know where it goes

although we have been getting sea breezes for the last couple of weeks, it seems 20kn winds and above are still a very rare commodity this year.
the lack of wind you banana benders are suffering seems to be wide spread,do other states and locations feel the same?

on a slightly different point
at peli point, here on the swan river, we now have weed growing out of control something until recent years was unheard of in fact in 27 years of sailing the same spot i can't ever remember it being a problem before.
i am beginning to think i should of voted for the greens!

not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing? i would have thought the soil would have been too sandy, and make sure you keep the snails away from it you lucky peli-pointers i bet you lot can jump heidy heigh

it's ok, i've been feeding it a litre every 3k for nearly 8 years. Once a month I forfeit my 4 litre cask of red for a 5 litres of motor slipperystuff

We're getting spasmodic S/Easterlies, the graphs are lying, and changing from day to day, but still managing a sail a week (no where near enough, but with the work I've got on the plate, and closing my business in 4 weeks, suits me, unfortunately!)

Hasn't been a great start to the season here in NSW this year either. We've had a few good seabreezes (25+kts) lately though so it's showing signs of improvement. Just need a higher frequency :D

same here mates! after a week of rain and rain and rain it's windy the opposite direction and coming to december should be howling...this is the weirdest i've seen so far, either lightwind, flukey or real windy but not the usual trades.

so nebb's on a soul searching journey, i thought he was just relocating..an endless???

I have noticed over the years that a quiet spell is usually followed up with something extreme.

the weather we are getting at the moment reminds me of the old days where we would get 4-6 weeks of nothin and then a huge cyclone would head down the coast.

also could be that huey has spied evlpandas lastest purchase or that nebbian has somehow upset the time space continuem by going to WA.

yep gestalt, that's what am thinkin' the past few weeks...ok let it rain and be windy the opposite way and be dry real dry and blow wind my calouses would stack onto each other...i bet myself it'll be a wet x'mas followed by a el nino dry spell with winds well past march unto jully just like 3yrs. ago..

The last two weeks has been very poor but before that it wasnt too bad, looking at the chart it looks like a little alteration to the weather pattern in our favour,as soon as i picked up my new board the wind stopped!

Yesterday:

Fully lit on a 5.0, head to logo waves at green head...

Thought briefly of my homies on the east coast... then I had to wipe a sympathetic tear from my eye.

Good luck with the wind boys, but there really is no comparison to over here. This week: The holy grail - Coronation Beach
